Royal Scandalは、この10周年を機に大きく変わる決意をいたしました。
1月に先んじて発表しましたとおり、今後は奏音69とRAHWIAの2名が残り、これからも作品制作を継続いたします。

突然の大きな変化に、違和感や複雑な気持ちを抱えている方も多くいらっしゃるかと思います。
様々なご意見に対し、できる限り応えられる方法を探しましたが、すべての方に喜んでいただける100点の回答は存在しませんでした。
それならば、私たちがやるべきことは、「それでもRoyal Scandalの活動を待っている」という声に対して向き合うことであり、そのご期待に誠実に応えることだと考えました。

Royal Scandalは大きく変わります。
以前と同じものを目指しても、それは恐らく皆さんが望む「同じもの」にはならないでしょう。
同じものにならないのなら、むしろ思いっきり変えてみようと思います。
そして積極的に新しいものに挑戦し、「これはこれでいいな」と思ってもらえるような作品を目指します。

とはいえ、音楽や物語、キャラクターや映像をお届けするのは、これまでと変わらず同じメンバーです。
どんな形になっても、自分たちの作品やキャラクターを大切に守り、これからも楽しんでいただけるように全力を尽くします。

ボーカルについて

固定メンバーとしてボーカルを置くことは、今後ございません。
代わりに、楽曲ごとのコンセプトに合った方をお呼びし、「キャストボーカル」として歌っていただくことといたしました。
世代、性別、国籍、活動ジャンルを超えた様々なボーカリストと共作することで、新しいスタイルに挑戦しつつ、さらに多くの方にRoyal Scandalの作品をお楽しみいただけるよう輪を広げていきます。

また、キャストボーカル版とあわせてVOCALOID版も発表予定です。

楽曲について

これまでに公開したRoyal Scandal公式チャンネルの動画、音楽配信、CDについて、私たちが公開停止することはございません。今後もご視聴いただけます。
しかし、今後私たちが過去音源を使用することは、残念ながら権利的に難しくなります。
そこで、これまでの楽曲を自主レーベルにて再構築し、新キャストボーカル・新MVにて再発表することといたしました。
たいへんありがたいことに、過去全曲をサウンドプロデュースしていただいた岸利至さんをはじめ、これまで携わってくださった多くのクリエイター・ミュージシャン・スタッフの方にも、引き続きご協力いただけることになりました。
長い時間のかかる挑戦となりますが、10年かけて創ってきた楽曲や映像に蓋をすることは絶対にしたくなく、このように決断いたしました。
公式チャンネルにて少しずつ公開いたしますので、新たな解釈で蘇る過去作たちをぜひご覧ください。

もちろん、これと並行して新曲も制作しております。
まずは7月21日の10周年記念日にあわせて新作"Episode13"をリリースいたします。楽しみにお待ちくださいませ。

ストーリー/キャラクターについて

これまで、ストーリーやキャラクターの詳細は敢えて明かさず、皆さまの自由な想像でお楽しみいただく形式をとってきました。
しかし、物語の中で息づく彼ら彼女らに親しみを持ち、これからも長く愛していただくためには、ある程度分かりやすい説明が必要であると考えました。
そこで、以下の施策を行います。

①過去作を含む全エピソードの「あらすじ」を順次公開
②登場済みキャラクターの詳細なプロフィールを公開（誕生日など）
-公式サイトをリニューアルし、いつでもご覧いただけるようにいたします。

③キャラクターをメインとしたグッズ発売や企画（例:皇子からの密命）
④Royal Scandal 初の小説化・ノベライズ
-これまで都合により出来なかったキャラクター企画をしっかり拡げていきます。

この他にも、まだ構想段階ではございますが様々な企画を準備しております。
これから新たにRoyal Scandalを知ってくださる方々も含めて、さらに作品に触れやすくなるような整備を進めていきます。

小説化について

Royal Scandalの物語をより深くお楽しみいただくため、初の小説版を制作することにいたしました。
ストーリー原案と監修を奏音69が、ビジュアル監修をRAHWIAが担当したうえで、執筆は信頼のおけるライターの方にご担当いただく予定です。
まだ具体的にお伝えできる段階ではございませんが、詳細が決まりしだい発表いたします。

これまでメンバー担当外の制作（小説執筆など）はなるべく実施しないことにしておりましたが、これも方針を大きく転換し、今後はメンバーの力だけでは制作できないような大きな企画にも挑戦していきます。

Royal Scandalが目指すもの

活動内容が大きく変わることにより、皆さまに「どこに向かっているかわからない」といった不安を与えてしまうかと思います。
そこで、私たちと皆さまの間で、具体的な大きい目標をひとつ定めることといたしました。

Royal Scandalは、音楽と物語を融合させた「舞台化」を目指します。

2018年に開催された初舞台「秘恋の歌姫」は多くの方にご好評いただき、Royal Scandalの活動を大きく前進させるきっかけとなりました。
あれから数年間、10周年企画として再度舞台化を目指し動いておりましたが、残念ながらすべて白紙となってしまいました。
それでも、音楽・物語・キャラクター・世界観といったRoyal Scandalのすべてを詰め込むことができる舞台公演は、私たちの大きな目標です。
（もう少し欲を言えば、各エピソードやキャラごとの舞台。いつかロゼッタやアルベールなど他キャラクターが主役の舞台もお届けしたいです）
現時点では遠い夢物語でしかありませんが、皆さんとその夢を共有しながら、少しずつ目指していきたいと考えています。

その他にも、漫画やボイスドラマの実現、ライブや記念展の開催など、今回の10周年では残念ながらお届けできなかった企画がたくさんございます。現時点ではすべて未定ですが、今後はこれらもお届けできることを目指していきます。

Regarding Vocals

There will be no fixed members as vocalists in the future.
Instead, we will invite individuals who match the concept of each song to sing as "cast vocalists."
By collaborating with a variety of vocalists from different generations, genders, nationalities, and activity genres, we aim to embrace a new style and expand our reach, allowing even more people to enjoy Royal Scandal's works.

In addition to the cast vocalist version, we also plan to release VOCALOID version of our songs.

Regarding Music

All videos, music streaming, and CDs previously released on the official Royal Scandal channel will remain available for you to enjoy.
However, it will be legally less easy for us to use past sound recordings due to licensing restrictions.
Therefore, we have decided to rework our songs in the past under our independent label and re-release them with new cast vocalists and new music videos.
We are extremely grateful that many creators, musicians, and staff members, including Toshiyuki Kishi, who was the record producer of all our past songs, have agreed to continue collaborating with us.
This will be a long-term challenge, but we did not want to close the chapter on the music and videos we have created over the past ten years.

We will gradually share these revived past works on our official channel, and we invite you to experience them with fresh interpretations.

Of course, we are also working on new music in the meantime.
First, we will release our new song "Episode 13" on the occasion of our 10th anniversary on July 21. Please stay tuned.

About the Story/Characters

So far, we have deliberately refrained from revealing detailed information about the story and characters, allowing everyone to enjoy it through their own imagination.
However, we believe that providing a certain level of clear explanation is necessary so that you can feel familiar with the characters appearing in the stories and continue to love them for a long time.
Therefore, we will take the following measures:

①Sequentially release the "summary" of all episodes, including past works.
②Publish detailed profiles of the characters that have already appeared (e.g., birthdays).
We will update the official website to make it available for viewing at any time.

③Plan and introduce character-themed merchandise (e.g., ‘Secret Order from the Prince’).
④The first novelization of Royal Scandal.
We will expand character concepts that we have been unable to do so far.

In addition to that, we are preparing various projects, though they are still in the planning phase.
We are working to make it easier for everyone, including those who are newly discovering Royal Scandal, to engage with our works.

Regarding the Novelization

To allow the audience to enjoy the story of Royal Scandal more deeply, we have decided to create our first novel. The story concept and supervision will be handled by KANON69, visual supervision by RAHWIA, and a trusted writer will be in charge of the writing.
While we are not yet at a stage where we can share specific details, we will announce them as soon as they are finalized.

Until now, we have avoided undertaking productions beyond the scope of the members’ responsibilities (such as novel writing), but we have decided to significantly change this approach. Moving forward, we will take on large-scale projects that cannot be achieved by the members’ efforts alone.

What Royal Scandal Aims For

With the significant changes in our activities, we understand that you might feel uncertain about our direction.
Therefore, we have decided to set a clear and specific goal that we can share with all of you.

Royal Scandal aims to introduce a "theatrical performance" that fuses music and storytelling.

Our first stage performance, " Hiren no diva," held in 2018, was well-received by the audience and served as a significant milestone in advancing Royal Scandal’s activities.
For several years since then, we have been working towards staging another performance as part of our 10th-anniversary projects, but unfortunately, all plans were scrapped.
Despite this, a theatrical performance that includes all elements of Royal Scandal—music, story, characters, and worldview—is still the goal we want to achieve.
(Ideally, we would like to provide theatrical performances for each episode and character. We hope to present stage performances featuring other characters like Rosetta or Albert as the protagonists someday.)
Although it is just a dream at this point, we would like to share it with everyone and work toward it little by little.

There are many other projects that we, unfortunately, could not deliver for this 10th anniversary, such as manga, voice dramas, live performances, and commemorative exhibitions. While nothing is confirmed at this point, we aim to bring these projects to you in the future.

악곡에 관하여

지금까지 공개된 Royal Scandal 공식 채널의 영상, 음악, CD에 대해 저희가 공개를 중지하는 일은 없을 것이며, 앞으로도 시청하실 수 있습니다.
그러나 권리 문제에 기인하여, 안타깝게도 저희가 과거의 음원을 그대로 사용하는 것은 어려워졌습니다.
이에 따라 자주적인 레이블을 재구축하여 지금까지의 곡을 새로운 게스트 보컬, 새로운 MV와 함께 재발표하기로 하였습니다.
